About
Makaira is a 42′ Renaissance Prowler with a relaxed, easygoing character that travels well to the British Virgin Islands. The comfortable layout — bucket seats, bow loungers, bean bags, and open deck space — makes the longer day feel like a hangout rather than a haul, and the stable hull handles the crossings comfortably. The captain shapes the day around Jost Van Dyke, snorkel spots, and the BVI's famous beach bars, with local beer and seltzer aboard. Run captain-only, it's a casual, good-value way to take on the BVI for groups who like to keep things low-key.
